"...Fotomatic Plug-In Filters : A series of effects based on traditional photography equipment and techniques. They are not meant to be complex or exact matches, merely a quick and easy method to achieve results that are similar to what can be produced via conventional non-digital format..."
"...The "Works" Plug-In Filters : Originally created quite a few years ago, these filter packs have been updated several times and converted into a number of different versions (Photoshop, Premiere, etc). They provide the user with a base of very simple effects that can be handy to use on a regular basis.

Software | Adobe Lightroom

Adobe released a workflow tool for photographers. Lightroom is still beta and for Mac (Windows version will follow). Will lightroom be the Apple Aperture killer? Apperture got some negative reviews So maybe its time to test Lightroom.
[quote]"...Lightroom Beta lets you view, zoom in, and compare photographs quickly and easily. Precise, photography-specific adjustments allow you to fine tune your images while maintaining the highest level of image quality from capture through output. And best of all, it runs on most commonly used computers, even notebook computers used on location. Initially available as a beta for Macintosh, Lightroom will later support both the Windows and Macintosh platforms...."

Cool site | You Tube

I've searched the database from You tube (see my previous French Maids post) and found some cool vids. The site is full of footage. I was looking for the Stevie Ray Vaughan MTV unplugged footage, and they have it! They also got the Guitarduel from the movie "Crossroads" with Steve Vai (actually Vai is playing both parts). And to close with another guitar virtuoso: Joe Satriani playing "Midnight" on the G3 tour.
