Pimp my desktop: Konfabulator

I like cool desktops. With cool features and one click gadgets. Konfabulator has it. This free OS-add on for Mac and Win enhances your OS with 'widgets'. The screenshot is from my notebook desktop with the Map-o-Rama- and Meteosat-widget active. Actually it is a Windows XP notebook so I've tweaked it radically. First I've installed FlyakiteOSX , then Y'Z dock for the OSX-style dock. When you have the full OSX restyle, you can install Konfabulator. To get more Docklets for Y'Z dock check here. More widgets can be found here.
UPDATE: I've found a better Dock-tool for Y'Zdock! : RK Launcer

BrixPod

Do you like Lego? Do you like Ipod?
Then Brixpod is for you: "...The BrixPod Classic is a signed and numbered limited edition of 300 units. Each BrixPod is assembled by hand from 59 genuine LEGO® parts. The BrixPod Classic can be displayed alone but is intended for use with the iPod shuffle (not included). By inserting the shuffle into the top of the BrixPod you get the effect of a fully functional music player constructed from LEGO®. The shuffle is held securely and protected inside the BrixPod. By pushing on the screen area of the BrixPod the shuffle can be paused/played. An eject slider on the back of the BrixPod allows you to remove the shuffle easily...." Check it all out over here

Stellarium

Once in a while you find some true software-gems. Programs that have the yaw-dropping 'wow' effect. Well, here is one. Stellarium. I have a great interest in cosmology and astronomy. So I was looking for a nice planetary tool. Stellarium is a planetary desktop tool made for MacOSX, WindowsXP and Linux. When you have real interest in the night sky above you download it here.

Synchronise Itunes with mobile phones

A very interesting project here: Mass Storage Synchronizer
A sync-tool (Windows) for Itunes that works with various mobile phones. The project is ongoing, so more types of phones will be added in the future - I think. Check it all out over here

Transform WinXP to OSX

FlyakiteOSX is a transformation pack. It will transform the look of an ordinary Windows XP+ system to resemble the look of Mac OS X. The installer simply automates the process of replacing critical system files, setting registry tweaks, and installing extras such as cursors, sounds, visual styles, etc.

Pre-Ipod era: the walkman decade

Nostalgia-time!! Do you remember the time before the Ipod? The eighties were the decade of the first mobile-music generation. No MP3 but analog audiotapes and walkmans the seize of a small shoebox. Here you'll find some classics. My first walkman, the uber-cool yellowish Sony FM-5 waterresistant FM cassette is also mentioned. So check it out and find your old walkman.
